Acrylic sheet and polycarbonate sheet are thermoplastic materials commonly used for similar applications, such as glazing or panels. The main difference between the two is their physical strength: polycarbonate sheets are much more impact resistant than acrylic sheets, which have a lower impact resistance. Polycarbonate sheets are also more resistant to heat and UV rays. They also have better thermal insulation than acrylic sheets. On the other hand, acrylic sheets have better optical transparency and scratch resistance than polycarbonate sheets.

Cast and extruded acrylic
